I recently took the time to work with our premium Laticrete products we stock. Laticrete 253 & 254 mix to a smooth, easy spreading substance. 253 bonds well to a variety of substrates.
254 spreads to bond tile and stone in both floor and wall installations - also an excellent choice for glass.

As a mastic substitute, Laticrete 255 works well for shower and tub surround walls. Intended for large format tiles, it even allowed me to hang 13x13 tiles on the ceiling! The mortar also prevents sagging and lippage from occurring.

All three of the thin-sets are Green Guard Certified (low VOC emissions) and 255 & 254 also have Microban (antimicrobial product protection).
